What we are. A Licensed Veterinary Technologist visiting your home to provide technologist-level care, owner education, and gentle support.
What we are not. A veterinarian, a prescriber, a surgeon, or an emergency service. For diagnosis, prescriptions, or urgent care, please contact your veterinarian or nearest emergency hospital.

If you're thinking

"My pet needs hands-on care at home."

Routine maintenance, post-op recovery, ongoing condition support, or comfort care. We come to you and do the work in the calm of your home.

Examples

What this looks like

  • Nail trims & ear cleaning
  • Subcutaneous fluid administration requires veterinarian oversight
  • Medication administration support (oral, topical, injectable)
  • Post-op recovery checks, bandage care, e-collar support
  • Basic husbandry assistance
  • Hospice & end-of-life comfort visits requires veterinarian oversight

"Requires veterinarian oversight" means these are performed under a prescribing veterinarian's direction.

What to expect

The shape of a hands-on visit

Most visits run 30–60 minutes. We arrive a few minutes early to settle, introduce ourselves to your animal at their pace, and walk you through everything before we begin.

After the visit, you receive a written summary within 24 hours: what we did, what we observed, recommended next steps, and any educational resources that apply.

If we see something that warrants veterinary attention, we'll tell you clearly and recommend how to follow up.

If you're thinking

"I need guidance, education, or specialty consultation."

For the decisions that shape your animal's life — a new puppy or kitten, a senior whose needs are changing, a complex diagnosis you want to navigate well, or an exotic species needing species-specific care.

Examples

What this looks like

  • New-puppy / new-kitten setup visits
  • Pre-adoption consults (is this breed right for my life?)
  • Senior pet wellness check-ins
  • Pre-hospitalization & emergency-prep coaching
  • Nutrition & weight-management coaching
  • Behavior triage and referrals
  • Avian, reptile, and exotic-mammal consults
  • Client education on chronic conditions
  • Wildlife awareness & referral information

Consults are educational. For diagnosis or prescription, we refer to your veterinarian.

What to expect

The shape of a guidance visit

Most consults run 45–90 minutes, depending on the complexity. We come prepared with questions tailored to your animal's life stage and your goals as a guardian.

You leave with a clear action plan, owner-friendly resources, and a written summary you can forward to your veterinarian.

For pre-hospitalization or pre-op coaching, the goal is that you walk into your veterinarian's office knowing what to ask, what to expect, and how to advocate for your animal.

Also available

Drop-ins, medication delivery, and complex care visits.

For owners away from home — or animals who simply need someone who really knows what they're doing.

Drop-in visits while you're away

Feeding, medication administration, sub-Q fluids, cleaning, walks, and gentle enrichment when you can't be there. This is not a sitting service — it's available specifically because some animals need someone with clinical understanding, patience, and compassion. Anxious or aggressive pets, seniors on multiple medications, animals with chronic conditions, post-op recoveries: these are exactly the cases where this kind of visit is valued.

Complex care visits

Multi-medication regimens. Difficult-to-handle animals. Specialty species. Long, careful sessions where the animal needs unhurried, expert hands. These visits land at the higher end of our pricing range, scaled to length and complexity. Always inquire — Xavier reads every booking personally and quotes honestly.
